INTRODUCTION
Thermal Electronics Corp., established in 1997, develops, designs and manufactures Thermoelectric Peltier and Seebeck effect based appliances and components for the food service, medical, commercial, and industrial industries.
Over the last 9 years TEC has been developing a novel Seebeck design for use in Thermoelectric Power Generations. The new design (phase 1 completed January 2009) allows GENCELL™ elements to be manufactured using full automation. The new design process GENCELL™ will revolutionize the mass manufacturing of Thermoelectric elements producing millions of high density, high amperage thermoelectric GENCELL™ at significantly lower manufacturing costs. Production of a 200 amp GENCELL™ prototype has already been tested and verified in our lab using the new manufacturing design process.The new design will lower electrical resistance, increase efficiency, performance and reliability of the TEG system. Several patents applications protect the IP. We are now collaborating with McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario to fine tune the design for commercialization and mass manufacturing.

Since 2001 we have been working on a new design for Thermo Electric Generators (TEG) using the Seebeck Effect.
A specially designed thermo electric module is sandwiched between to conductors. As heat is absorbed into the hot side the thermal energy passes thru the module to the cold side, where the excess energy is carried off by either water, or heat sink. The DT(Delta-Temperature). or hot side less the cold side differential causes electrons to move creating electricity. Our new design is being conceived by a scientist whose experience in this field dates back to 1957. He has worked as a consultant with most of the leading thermo electric pioneers over his career and now is devoting time and energy to exploring his ideas.
The new TEG design being completely automates the process of manufacturing the modules. It will also incorporate an optimized semiconductor material for efficiencies of between 7 to 9%. If we are successful and we will know by January 2013 our plan will be to mass manufacture the modules for specific industries
such as auto, food service and large transportation vehicles. The devices will be manufactured as a high current module in the range of 100 to 140 amps. These high current modules using present design technology are very expensive and difficult to design and therefore are uneconomical to produce except for military applications. Our new designs will be the norm rather than the exception!
If your company is a leading tier 1 Auto supplier we would be very interested in licensing the technology. The design and cost to manufacture will be significantly lower than presently designed modules.
